First, meet the man behind the name – John Brandler. John is the owner, founder and leading force behind this friendly business.

John comes from a dealing background – his grandfather was an auctioneer. So it was no surprise that he started dealing in antique furniture whilst he was still at school.

John purchased his first Carel Weight painting at a house sale. It was through Carel that he met other Royal Academicians, fell in love with the art world and has dealt in art ever since.

Brandler Galleries specialises in Modern British Art, Illustrations for Children’s Publications and English Old Masters.

With a variety of prints and original artworks, the gallery has an abundance of charm. Home to many rare  works by street artists Banksy, Blek Le Rat and Pure Evil to name a few.

In 2012 the gallery celebrated 30 years of business.
